CLA 1,000 MG - Tonalin, conjugated linoleic acid
Commonly known as Tonalin, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is an important omega-6 fatty acid which can be found in grass-fed beef and many full-fat dairy products. As a supplement, it is used by many people to improve weight loss results and overall body composition. There are a number of studies which have been done to suggest that CLA can help with weight loss.
How CLA 1,000mg Helps with Weight Loss
According to a report published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, CLA helps improve weight loss by activating an enzyme known as palmitoyltransferase which is responsible for the transportation of fat into your cells where it will then be used for energy. The researchers concluded that just 3.2 grams of CLA taken every day can help effectively reduce body fat.

However, other research that was reported in Food and Chemical Toxicology stated that CLA may lower your good cholesterol levels or raise blood sugar levels, so those with health conditions related to blood sugar or cholesterol should use with caution. Other Health Benefits of CLA 1,000mg
Research has indicated the CLA may also be helpful in reducing the risk of breast cancer because of the way it interacts with the estrogen hormone which plays a role in breast cancer cell division. This study was reported to the Journal of Nutrition in March of 2004. Another study that can be found in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that CLA can also be helpful in fighting against colorectal cancer, although additional research needs to be done to determine how this works.
