Beth Behrs Enjoying Her New Life As A Vegetarian

Beth Behrs (born December 26, 1985) is an American actress best known for her current role as Caroline Channing in the television series “2 Broke Girls”. She landed her first acting role in “American Pie Presents: The Book of Love”, (direct-to-video 2009) which was the seventh part to the popular American Pie (1999-2009) series. Beth Behrs is enjoying her new life as a Vegetarian even though the total conversion was not by choice. Behrs was known by family and friends as a “junk food a-holic” and was always eating “on-the-run” without proper eating habits. Some of her favorite foods to eat throughout the day was pizza, chips, doughnuts and heavy pastas. Behrs admits that while becoming an actress, her ability to focus on what she was feeding her body was not there. She was too busy trying to be the very best in her acting career.
Health Concerns

As time went on, Behrs noticed that she started to feel her body going through changes that didn’t make her feel too good. Surprisingly, this was not related to weight gain as one with assume because of her eating style. Instead, She began to notice that she didn’t have the same energy that she once did and she became very sluggish due to not getting all the proper nutrients and vitamins from her food intake. Unfortunately along with these symptoms, her skin started to breakout in red flaky patches that went all the way from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Even then, Behrsstill didn’t associate her bad eating habits to the things that was happening to her health but she did know it was time to see a doctor. It was then that the actress was educated on the needs of her body and how feeding her body right was the only possible way to keep her strong. This being strong enough to continue full-speed toward the goals that she has set for herself in her career. Behrs was given a referral to see a Naturopathic Doctor who utilizes therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals' inherent self-healing process in the time of need. This particular doctor recommended that the actress try a raw foods-only diet to help get her skin back to normal. “Within two days, my skin was almost totally clear,” she says. “This when I finally realized that the food I was putting into my body was causing this Game of Thrones grey scale reaction.”
Becoming Vegetarian Was The Best Option

Since the results from changing to a raw food-only diet were positively amazing, Beth Behrs totally dedicated herself to maintaining a Vegan lifestyle. She has completely cut out the junk food and was able to do this by finding fun, creative and delicious dishes to cook in order to keep eating interesting. She uses supplements to aid in making sure her body receives all of the recommended vitamins and nutrients. Behrs says that she and her current boyfriend, American actor Michael Gladis who is best known for playing character Paul Kinsey on “Mad Men,” entertain at home often. Luckily, the majority of their friends are Vegan as well which helps with conversational topics at the dinner table. There is a great way for the actress to get fresh ideas for cooking recipes and to stay up to date with the latest Vegan trends. Beth Behrs enjoying her new life as a Vegetarian is obvious if you are a follower of her on social media. She is always posting pictures of tasty-looking Vegan dishes that she created or made herself. She has a new-found love for cooking since converting to a Vegan lifestyle and it has been beneficial in more ways than one.
