Are you having problems sticking to your exercise routine? There can be many reasons for this. For example, the class you're taking may not be appropriate for you in that it may be to difficult or to easy. Perhaps you are not relating to your teacher. On the other hand, maybe you just didn't fully commit and establish goals. It is important to talk with the instructor before you join in and determine what you need to do in you're current state of fitness. The instructor should be able to place you in the appropriate class and help you set up a log to keep information pertaining to your progress. Any fitness program should offer this and it only takes a small amount of time to get you on your way. Once you are in a program, make sure to tell your teacher any problems you are having so they can help you resolve your issues. Your not in this alone. Ask for help when you need it.

It's always a good idea to have a friend to exercise with whether you're at the gym in a class, working out on equipment (non-class event), at home or outside (bicycling, jogging or walking). Your friend will help you exercise regularly and give you some pointers. Your friend will help you to commit to your goals. Both you and your friend will have too commit to each other. Your friend will not be happy if he/she comes over prepared to exercise and you don't want to go.

Do some soul searching. Take a look at how you feel about exercising. Get serious, talk to yourself, family, friends and instructor if you have one. Without the proper attitude, you won't be able to accomplish your goals. You really need to believe you can achieve it. So, convince yourself. You may need to change your thinking. Follow suit with Nike and just “do it”. One way to accomplish this to stop thinking about it. Keep a positive attitude by making it reflexive. Little by little, you won't think about doing it and you will get there. Then, you will get the most out of your exercise routine. Eventually, you won't be able to live without it. One day of missing your routine will put your off in the way you feel and in fact you may feel guilty about being lax.

Whether you exercise with a class, friend or instructor, you need to trust in the routine you are on. Think about the weight you will lose and how well you will look and feel. Make sure to keep a log of everything you do and make sure to weigh yourself every time. This provides proof that you are losing weight and this will give you the courage to continue. If you're not loosing weight, then you can figure out how to change your routine so that you do. Yes, you must be brave and go forward. You'll be able to gauge specifically how long it will take to lose weight.
