You probably know Christine Taylor from her role as Melody in the TV show, “Hey Dude” or laugh-out-loud movies like "Zoolander" and "Dodgeball: a True Underdog Story", but away from the limelight, she has been spreading her passion for health and wellness to everyone around the world. She is currently the spokesperson for the USDA certified organic beauty line, Nourish, and has been sharing her personal journey of integrating good health into her family’s lifestyle and encourages people to live greener. Check out these un-red carpet things Christine Taylor does to feel as healthy and as gorgeous as she looks.
Using pure organic, cruelty free skin care products
As an animal lover, she explains that whatever she puts on her skin is very important. Her favorite bath and body products line is Nourish, and she says it does exactly what it promises, nourishing the skin. They also come with delicious scents that her husband and children tell her how good she smells and how soft her skin is.
Ensuring that she gets a good night’s sleep everyday

Never underestimate the rejuvenating power of a great night’s rest. As the mother of a ten year old and a seven year old, Christine says that there were years when she just couldn’t sleep. However, the kids are a little older she is able to sleep through the night. She savors and keeps herself in line for uninterrupted, dream filled sleep.
Embracing a vegetarian diet

Her decision to go vegetarian is certainly paying off, and she explains that drinking a green homemade smoothies does wonders to her health. She certainly buys plenty of fruits and leafy greens to blend each morning so she can start the day with vitamin packed greens that up her energy levels and leave her feeling like she is glowing from the inside and out. A nutritionist convinced her and her husband Ben stiller to try "Vitamix" a green drink that is packed with vitamins and minerals. More importantly, she does not have to worry about the negative effects of red meats and fatty foods.
Here is the favorite Stiller family green smoothie recipe: mix the Vitamix with kale, romaine lettuce, ginger, spinach, celery, parsley and lemon juice. Add a few cups of water, and then sweeten with stevia.
Practicing yoga
Christine Taylor practices Kundalini yoga. By definition, Kundalini is a form of meditation and yoga whose purpose is to cultivate the yogis’ creative spiritual potential to speak the truth, uphold values and focus on the consciousness and compassion needed to serve others.
Kundalini Yoga helps her focus on being the best mom, wife, friend and human being she can be. It is a reminder that true beauty comes from within. It may seem intense and demanding as a work out, but it is as gentle as it can be on the soul. She also likes hiking and playing tennis; generally experiencing the outdoors during summer.
To Christine Taylor, the key to living a happy, healthy life is taking small steps at a time. Do a few things for yourself everyday, but avoid putting too much pressure on yourself. Using everything in moderation (such as the base of your diet and beauty regimen) can make a massive difference.
